Overview

The Tasks page gives your team a shared board to manage recruiting action items — from scheduling calls, to reviewing CVs, to following up with candidates. Everyone on the team can see what’s been assigned and what’s pending.

Task Statuses

Tasks move through four stages:

Creating a Task

Click New Task and fill in:
  • Title — what needs to be done
  • Description — optional context or instructions
  • Assigned to — pick a team member responsible for the task
  • Status — set the initial state

Assigning Tasks

Tasks can be assigned to any workspace member. The assigned person’s avatar appears on the task card and they’ll be notified.
Use tasks to delegate action items that come out of chat conversations — keep decisions in chat, execution in Tasks.

Filtering and searching

Use the search and filter controls at the top of the Tasks page to:
  • Filter by status
  • Filter by assigned team member
  • Search by task title

Best Practices

Keep tasks specific and actionable. “Review Ahmed’s CV for Senior Dev role” is better than “CV review.”
Use “In Review” as a handoff stage. When you complete your part of a task but need someone else to sign off, move it to In Review rather than Done.
